Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau

This driving route is much more spectacular and interesting than the common route through Hoa Binh to Mai Chau.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Moc Chau – Mai Chau

Morning: Go for a drive to Moc Chau Plateau, about 50km from Mai Chau. This Plateau is, for sure, very scenic and peaceful. When you get there, the first sight of the magical tea plantation will bewitch you. In fact, lots of couples come to this green site to take pre-wedding photography. And, this is your chance to create the honeymoon photography of the lifetime. The plateau encourages almost every visitor to refresh and pose as the professional models. After that, head to the local restaurant for lunch.

After the lunchtime: you come to see Ba Phach Village which is the authentic and spectacular home to the Mong people. Their traditional houses and different cultural identity can make you curious to learn. Also, try communicating and interacting with the villagers who are known for their hospitality and heartfelt smile.

On the return route to Mai Chau, stop by Suoi Lin attraction which has the highlights of fabulous tea plantation and Thai village. The photography, sightseeing, and cultural discovery are boundless.

Evening: Have dinner at the Mai Chau Ecolodge. Also, spend time watching the traditional music show performed by the villagers, which is an exciting way to end your second day of the honeymoon in Mai Chau.

Day 3: Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve

Morning: Start with the appetizing breakfast and unwind at Mai Chau Ecolodge.

10:00: Continue the trip by driving on the road along Ma River to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

12:30: After the scenic drive with the magnificent mountain-and-valley views, you get to Pu Luong Nature Reserve area. It might be also the lunchtime at the resort, so have lunch and check in your accommodation. Later is your free time to discover the charming retreat which stands out for the panoramic sightseeing and the quiet environment.

14:30: Get interested in a local suspension bridge which leads to the enjoyable walking trip. The on-foot exploration covers the highlights of the fairy rice fields and the captivating water wheels which turn to be the awesome backgrounds for the “so-deep” photographs. Come closer to the wheels to figure out how it works as the water flowing from the river to the bamboo aqueducts. Then, you arrive at the house of the local fishermen who offer the short boat trip with the available gear. Boating on the bamboo raft is the fantastic channel to discover the calm water world and the stunning river view. The stop point is the nice Tan Lap Bridge in which you disembark to be ready for the drive back to Pu Luong Retreat.

Evening: Have dinner at Pu Luong Retreat and stay overnight there.

Day 4: Trekking in Pu Luong Nature Reserve

07:30 – 08:00:  Start with the delicious breakfast at Pu Luong Retreat.

08:30:  Begin the early discovery by descending into the stunning village and walking around the marvelous rice fields, just nearby the Retreat. Then, trek through the narrow and concealed paths amidst the lush vegetation. Step by step, you discover the charming village rested in the foot of the mountain. Now, raise the camera and take the most picturesque snapshots ever!

Keep walking toward the bottom of the valley so that you see the flattering areas of the roads, the farms, pristine rice fields, traditional villages, rivers, ponds, and mountains. The fascinating scenery makes you trek full of excitement. Keep going until you reach the beautiful place to have a picnic lunch. After lunch, come to unwind at the nearby river.

15:30:  Come to the pick-up point to get transferred to the Pu Luong Retreat.

Day 5: Pu Luong – Trekking to local Village -Hanoi

06:30 – 07:00: Start with the tasty breakfast at Pu Luong Retreat.

08:00: Enjoy your free and easy time by continuing the exploration of the valley facing your Retreat. It is the happy time to trek through the bewitching rice fields, the small and pristine trails shrouded in the vegetation, and the friendly local villages. Take your time learning the local culture and beauty more and more. Also, enrich your photo albums of Pu Luong. Then, get transferred back to the Retreat.

10:30: Check out your room at Pu Luong Retreat and have lunch.

12:00: Arrive at Hanoi.
